Spirare Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor
Spirare ABPM (Ambulatory blood pressure monitor) is a first class tool for evaluation of the patient's blood pressure and response to blood pressure treatment.
The Spirare HM (Hypertension Management) software has several options for graphic visualization of the test results, as well as useful tools for analysis and comparison of data.
The Spirare ABPM device can be used in different modes, in-clinic blood pressure measurement and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring 24-48 hour.
In-clinic blood pressure measurement:
The patient carries the monitoring device for about 30 minutes in the clinic. The ABPM unit make repeated measurements for immediate evaluation of blood pressure level while the patient relaxes in the waiting room. The system can also be used for other purposes, like the Schellong test and the tilt test.
Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring 24-48 hour:
The patient carries the monitoring device for 24 to 48 hours, producing a profile of the blood pressure level throughout the whole day in different environments, such as at work, at home, during sleep and in the early morning. The monitor makes measurements at regular intervals, resulting in a detailed blood pressure profile that allows the physician to give an optimal prescription of medical treatment.
The Spirare ABPM system in these two modes eliminates "white coat hypertension" and "masked hypertension".
Spirare ABPM has been rewarded with A/A, the highest possible grade in the International Standard for Blood Pressure Monitors (EHS and BHS).
The Spirare ABPM monitor has a CE certificate, FDA approval and validation by BHS, EHS and AAMI. ISO13485:2003 Quality Management Standard.
