The system also includes an interactive gender-specific child incentive animation.
Features include automatic spirometric quality evaluation, comprehensive reports and configurable trend graphs for a good overview of patient history.
Spirare SPS320 sensor, using bi-directional ultrasound transit time measurements, is highly accurate. The system includes a sensor quality control rutine. However, the digital technology makes re-calibration of the sensor obsolete.
The sensor is very easy to use, thanks to its portable and ergonomic design. It has no moving parts, which makes it reliable and robust. The sensor is connected to the computer via USB, and doesn't need batteries nor external power supply.
Hygienic disposable mouthpieces prevent
contamination, and fit comfortably in the mouth of both adults and
children.
The Spirare sensor SPS320 is in accordance with current ATS/ERS standards and IEC 60601 standards. It has a CE certificate, a CSA certificate and a NEMKO certificate.
